@lassoan Should this issue be closed considering the markups module Line node doesn’t disappear when a control point is not in view?

Can the annotation module ruler be removed from Slicer now that the markups module line node has measurement functionality?

Agreed, this issue can be closed now.

We'll deprecate annotations module once markups ROI implementation is completed (currently it is work in progress - see #5061). Maybe we can remove Annotations completely in Slicer5.
