It is quite complicated to download and install Slicer, because all operating systems now make it hard to accidentally install unsigned applications. On MacOSX, non-signed applications also start up slower and can hang for tens of seconds when showing a file dialog (https://discourse.slicer.org/t/extension-wizard-file-open-dialogs-hang-ui-for-several-seconds/7881/36).The solution to all these problems would be to sign the installer and the Slicer executable on factory machine. Not just for stable but also for preview releases.
